We are pleased to announce the upcoming public beta of NebiOS X 10.0-dev2025.09, scheduled for September 2025. This release brings essential improvements that strengthen the system foundation while introducing long-requested tools. It represents an important step toward the first public release of NebiOS X.

Key New Features
#### 1. Hardware Status Daemon (hwstatusd)
The new `hwstatusd` daemon monitors hardware components in real time. It tracks metrics such as CPU load, memory usage, and thermal status. This provides users with valuable insights into their system’s health, creating a base for smarter diagnostics and improved stability.
#### 2. Power Management Settings
NebiOS X now includes a Power Management screen in the Control Center. This interface allows users to easily adjust power-related system settings and view how the system handles energy usage.

#### 3. Driver Installation and Switching
A dedicated Driver Manager has been added. Users can quickly check the currently installed driver and switch to an alternative without manual configuration.

This makes tasks such as changing NVIDIA driver versions far more accessible, reducing the reliance on terminal commands.
#### 4. Linux Kernel 6.14
The beta ships with Linux Kernel 6.14, providing the latest performance optimizations, extended hardware support, and important security fixes. Most notably, ntsync is now enabled by default, greatly improving software and gaming compatibility.
